Ren'Py → Spark(no unzipping) RPG Maker → RPGViewer(unzipping required)

Prepare emulator

Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

The worst breakup. No question. You thought your biggest problem was your ex-girlfriend. You were wrong. Welcome to Trapped at the Ex's House, and There Are Zombies!?, an adult visual novel where a simple trip to return your ex's stuff turns into a desperate fight for survival. You play as Ethan (name customizable), a guy who just wants a fresh start at college on a distant sunny island. After a confusing and painful breakup with your proud ex, Maddie, you thought it was all over. You just wanted to do the right thing. Drop off her stuff. Get some closure. Maybe get one last dig in. Then, the screaming starts. Then, the biting starts. Now the island is flooded with the undead, and the only safe place for miles is the one house you never wanted to set foot in again: your ex's home.
