In the sequel, we proudly present to you a wonderful dystopian life in a totalitarian state! Beholder 2 takes you back to Hermer, where you will once again become a cog in the totalitarian machine.
You are a newly hired department official in the Ministry of a totalitarian state. Although you are expected to have a brilliant career and may one day become the Prime Minister, the road to the top is not smooth.
Although you are at the bottom of the career ladder, this is already far above many of your fellow citizens! What kind of person will you decide to be? Will you become a diligent and responsible official who earns commendation from the wise leader? Or do you want to be a ruthless opportunist who eliminates anyone standing in the way of your rise to the Prime Minister's throne? Or perhaps you might just become a whistleblower? If so, who sent you? Why?
Either way, you are now part of the Ministry! From this moment on, no one outside these walls can surpass you! You are free to forge your own glorious future! So, how high can you climb the career ladder? It's all up to you!
