Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Adapted from IC4DESIGN's award-winning children's illustration series and developed by Darjeeling, The Maze Detective takes you through a fantastical world of underground cities, hot-air balloons, treetops, and haunted houses. Find your way out of each interactive maze, interact with colorful characters, explore hidden paths, unlock clues, and solve the mysteries along the way.

A new case has arrived for Pierre the Maze Detective! Mr. X has stolen the Maze Stone, which has the power to turn the entire Opera City into a maze. Help Pierre and his friend Carmen find their way through the mazes and stop Mr. X before it's too late!

You play as Pierre, the famous maze detective of Opera City, and you must recover the Maze Stone stolen by the notorious thief Mr. X!
