Prepare emulator

Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

Space Gladiators is a 2D hand-drawn roguelite platformer where you, a captive, must fight your way through thorns and obstacles to escape the prison on the planet. Only by defeating alien creatures in the gladiator arena can you regain your freedom!

You are taken captive and sent to a planet called Tartarus to become a gladiator for the entertainment of alien species. Along your journey you'll encounter randomly generated biomes, as well as all kinds of deadly traps and monsters.
Choose your opponent in the arena; defeating them earns you items and gold, and only then will you have a chance at freedom!

· Tight, fluid controls let you come out of battle without a scratch—the only limit is your skill!
· Hundreds of hand-drawn rooms, randomly selected so every run feels different.
· 50+ enemy types and 10 bosses, each with distinct movement and attack patterns.
· Up to 300+ pets, weapons, and trinkets that unlock a dazzling array of new skills for your character. Pop out your heart to heal yourself, throw meatballs, or use a laser gun.
· 8 unique characters with completely different playstyles, including a potato and an alien worm wearing boxer shorts.
· If it feels too hard or too easy, you can customize the difficulty of your adventure. High risk, high reward.
