Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Game synopsis

You play the role of a police chief, diving into a story of crime and conspiracy.
This Is the Police is a strategy/adventure game set in a city with winding sewers. Take on the role of brave Police Chief Jack Boyd as you plunge deep into a story of crime and conspiracy. Will Jack retire with a pile of cash, or will he end up broke... or worse?
- Your goal is clear: earn $500,000 within the 180 days before Jack Boyd retires. How? That's up to you!
- Decisions, decisions! This Is the Police is about a dark story and how you react to it. No matter what you decide, your choices will affect the game—and Jack Boyd's fate.
- The good, the bad, and... the ugly? The chief of the Freeburg Police Department deals with all kinds of people. It's up to you to find the bad guys, and you also decide what to do with them.
- Do your duty. As head of the Freeburg Police Department, Jack faces all kinds of challenges every day: responding to emergencies, managing officers, defending the department from City Hall and the corrupt mayor, and much more.
- Solve investigations and gather evidence against Freeburg's criminal gangs.
- Deal with the warring factions within the city. Everyone offers you help, but each comes at a price.
- A rich, fully voiced story: Jack Boyd is voiced by Jon St. John, the voice of Duke Nukem.
