Ultimate Pianist Kaede Akamatsu wakes up in an unfamiliar classroom... There, she meets other "Ultimate" students in the same predicament. Principal Monokuma announces that the students will take part in a school life called the "Killing Game." Lies, bluffs, deception—expose the darkness and the truth. For Kaede Akamatsu and the other students, is the future filled with hope, despair, or something else entirely...?
