Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

This is a unique strategy roguelike built on the eternally classic board game. It's still chess, but your entire army has defected to the White side, and all you have left now is your royal shotgun and your wounded dignity. Stubborn as ever, you decide it's time to show those white pieces the terror of the Shotgun King.

Each turn, you can choose to move your king or shoot an enemy piece, after which you must move again to reload your shotgun. Avoid being checkmated and kill the enemy king to clear each floor. After each floor, you can choose from two random sets of options that grant both you and the enemy an upgrade. Make wise choices, break through more floors, and who knows—you might actually have a chance to reclaim your kingdom.

A typical run takes about 20 minutes to complete. The game includes 15 different difficulty levels, an endless mode, and a chase mode—where you'll be constantly attacked from all sides!
