Ren'Py → Spark(no unzipping) RPG Maker → RPGViewer(unzipping required)

Prepare emulator

Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

There's a Neighbor!

Did you know? "Schadenfreude" is a German word meaning taking pleasure in others' misfortune. That's also the core idea behind Neighbors from Hell. This TV show is all about pulling increasingly outrageous pranks on a grumpy neighbor to entertain viewers and keep ratings high. In this slapstick feast inspired by early 2000s trash TV, it feels good to be bad!

You play Woody, the vengeful protagonist of Neighbors from Hell, pranking your way through the first and second seasons of this fictional but aptly named TV show. Starting from your hated neighbor's apartment, you prank your way across China, India, and Mexico, turning his vacation into a living hell. And why stop at the neighbor? Why not drag his mother and other travel companions into it too? Whatever you decide to do, your trusty camera crew will be standing by, closely watching your every move. You can let your wild ideas run free and watch the neighbor rage in despair. But be careful not to get caught by him or his companions, or they'll give you a severe beating and your TV show will be canceled. On the other hand, if you perform well by creating more and more chaos and mayhem in the neighbor's life, ratings will rise and you might even win some prestigious awards.

Neighbors from Hell Season 1 and Season 2 remastered collection: 28 episodes set in the neighbor's house, on a cruise ship, and at several vacation spots around the world.
