Ren'Py → Spark(no unzipping) RPG Maker → RPGViewer(unzipping required)

Prepare emulator

Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

You stand at the entrance of the police station at dawn, the sky barely light, the wet pavement reflecting cold blue lamplight. Behind you lies last night's chaos; ahead, countless forked paths of life.
This is a documentary-style interactive text game with no monster grinding, no leveling up, and no power-fantasy plot. You play an ordinary small-town youth at a crossroads in life: haul bricks at a construction site, work at a nightclub, stay in your rented room making short videos, go back home to open a barbershop, or board a pre-dawn train and leave for somewhere far away.
The game recreates the most authentic life of China's third- and fourth-tier cities—from empty beer bottles at a barbecue stall to hard hats on a construction site, from the fill lights in a rented room to old train tickets at the station. Every detail is steeped in the smoke and fire of everyday life. With a touch of black humor, it portrays the confusion and struggle of contemporary young people.
Nine completely different life endings, with no standard answers and no perfect life. You might strike it rich overnight, or you might lose everything; you might find true friendship. Every choice has a price, and every ending is worth savoring.
