Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

Journey to the West Life Simulator is a life simulation game set in the world of Journey to the West. You will travel through reincarnation, taking on the roles of Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Tang Sanzang and his disciples, heavenly generals, demon kings in their cave lairs, or famous mortal figures such as Han Yu and Li Bai, living through one legendary life after another.

The game uses a "chronicle progression + key choices" style of play: each year unfolds with the story, and at key moments such as claiming kingship on Mount Huaguo, studying under Bodhi, wreaking havoc in Heaven, and journeying west for the scriptures, you make choices that affect attributes like constitution, insight, fortune, demonic nature, Buddha nature, demonic aura, and destiny, as well as the karmic direction among Heaven, the demon clans, and the Buddhist order. The special modes "Wukong's Life" and "Bajie's Life" have their own independent options and growth systems, separate from the reincarnation character-draw gameplay, for an experience closer to the original novel's storyline.

The main menu offers daily check-ins, playtime rewards, and reincarnation rewards; completing routes unlocks a life compendium, endings, and themed wallpapers. Seven Journey to the West-themed wallpapers (the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Marshal Tianpeng, Tang Sanzang and his disciples, etc.) can be unlocked and swapped as you progress. No complex controls are needed—auto-progression and manual choices work together, making it perfect for experiencing in spare moments the Journey to the West fantasy of "if I lived another life, how would it end?"
