Play on iOS with an emulator

No iOS version here. Download the PC package (.7z) and run it with an emulator

Ren'Py → Spark(no unzipping) RPG Maker → RPGViewer(unzipping required)

Prepare emulator

Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

"The Big Boss Mystery" is a fun, humorous, fully voiced point-and-click adventure game that blends elements of "Monkey Island" and "Office Space." It's like those adventure games you remember, just without the absurd moon logic.

"A warm, quirky, and utterly brilliant take on office life."

— Adventure Game Hotspot

"For fans of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, or even Dilbert, this game will feel like coming home."

— Softpedia

— A gripping story! — Nothing sinister is going on at Biggleboss Inc. At least, that's what the company motto says. But Tom doesn't have time to quibble over literal meanings; he's already seriously late for work—and he hasn't even started preparing his "AGER Project" proposal.

Sneaking over to his desk won't be easy. Standing in his way are a mountain of bureaucracy, a pile of errands, and an ominous warning from a mysterious voice in the ventilation ducts.

* What on earth is going on at Biggleboss Inc.?

* What does it have to do with Tom?

* Why does he suddenly feel like today is only going to get weirder?

— Fully voiced! — This game features real voice acting, and all the voice actors were paid. 13 actors voiced 18 characters. Try to guess which characters share a voice actor? I bet you can't.

— About 4 hours of adventure! — Sounds pretty reasonable these days, right? After all, you're busy.
