Main Story:
At the all-new Mihama Academy, elite students hone their extraordinary skills—sometimes on the job. "Mad Dog" Rena, a marksman; the sniper Toka; demolition expert Chris; the spy Yuki; and their instructor Haruto make up "SORD" (Social Operations Research and Development).
Mihama Academy now entrusts live weapons to these so-called "misfit" girls, sending them on missions no one else dares to take. They plunge headlong into high-stakes, extra-legal operations, fighting for their country, the future, and each other—with safety never guaranteed.

In Volume 5, several weeks have passed since SORD successfully resolved the Kitaoka University incident. Yuki, Yuki's older sister, returns to Japan and rejoins Class A.
