You are the commander of the "Melistar" ("Star Bee"), and you have a crew of anthropomorphic intelligent bees. Your ship is your home, and your task is to keep an eye on its combat power to repel enemy attacks; stay on course, collect resources efficiently, and make sure both the queen bee and the soldiers have enough food; and of course, watch over the condition of your crew, who will strive to get out of trouble or stir up trouble.

This ship travels through a wondrous universe full of strange insect races. Who you ally with and who you fight depends mainly on you! The Merchants' Guild battles the Smugglers' Alliance; intelligent ants and locusts fight over space colonies; an evil blood-sucking cult spreads across the entire galaxy...

Collect ancient artifacts and fragments of knowledge about the past on distant planets, and explore the world's evolution and the misfortunes it faces. Perhaps you can avoid them... perhaps not.

As you strive to find resources and survive, you will experience many events aboard your ship: from conspiracies within the crew and problems among passengers to large-scale contraband "setups" or collisions with legendary pirate starship ghosts. Some events form a story, while others happen randomly.
