Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

This story takes place on a space station nestled among the clouds of Jupiter.

In a strange marketplace, there is a worried girl who can create entire universes in the palm of her hand.
《Selling the Universe》 is a hand-drawn adventure game set amid the clouds of Jupiter. Here, intelligent apes work as dockworkers, while mysterious cultists have cut away their own flesh and blood in pursuit of enlightenment.
Travel to Jupiter and explore a dilapidated colony. In a picturesque but notorious abandoned mining district, you'll find a teetering teahouse, a curious shop of oddities, and a busy mechanical repair shop. Whether human, ape, skeleton-only cultist, or robot, they all struggle to survive the pouring acid rain and tell you their unique stories.
The nameless Master is curious about Lila's story of being able to create universes. On a night of torrential rain, he finds Lila and discusses this unique ability with her. For something so awe-inspiring, Lila explains it as simply as how to brew coffee. But besides the Master, there are others who want to know about Lila, who want to uncover the core mystery of 《Selling the Universe》.
Choose a cup and provide some materials, and Lila can create a universe according to your special request. The only question is: will you buy it?
