Game synopsis
The setting is Japan several decades from now.
The government, pushing mechanization, manufactures enhanced humans itself,
and under the pretext of maintaining public order, they openly serve as bodyguards for VIPs.
However, these enhanced humans—devoid of emotion and possessing a violent side—also became "the harmful effects of mechanized development,"
and at the same time, they are a symbol displaying to the masses the "mechanically dominated future" that is inevitably coming.
Against this backdrop, McBain, who belongs to the anti-mechanization faction,
receives orders to seize confidential documents recording every detail of the enhanced humans, and infiltrates a military academy directly under the government.
There he meets a girl who is an enhanced human, but she sees through him as a spy.
However, this girl lost her family when she was converted into an enhanced human,
and though she is a military officer, she has survived only on her desire for revenge against the nation, so she proposes a plan to McBain.
"Well then. Will you do it, or won't you?"
Before long, through McBain's deliberate scheming, the girl is branded a "traitor,"
and what awaits her are intense interro○ation and days and nights of humiliation...
The girl endures, and endures on and on...
Until the day of revenge that will surely come...
