AI rampage incidents broke out all over the world, and the former utopia, Tsukumo City, was destroyed as a result.
When Hinata was a child, he fled to a botanical garden and met a girl there. The young Hinata found salvation in her, fell in love, and on the day they parted, he proposed to her.
Time passed, and during summer vacation, Hinata returned to his hometown. Hearing rumors that a ghost was tending the flowers, he headed to the botanical garden, where he met an android girl who longed to become human.
"You might not believe this, but I have a fiancé. He promised me that when this flower blooms, he'll come to see me."
She still hasn't realized who the young man before her, Hinata, really is.
A boy who lost his hometown, and an android girl who dreams of marriage.
Thus begins their one-of-a-kind summer, one they will never forget.
