One day, the protagonist Ryō Hayama advanced to the second year of his school—and you recall how, as a child, you invited your childhood friend Aina Orihara, who lived nearby, to play with you. Back then, Aina was introverted, and because she had to watch the moods of her kind-but-strict parents, she always played the role of the "obedient good girl." As a result she had few friends, but since you were relatives and your parents socialized with hers, the two of you were as close as siblings of the same age.
On one day now long past, you gave Aina a hairclip and tried to bring her out of the house. Aina said she still had homework to do and couldn't go out and play. Thinking quickly, you came up with three options—"hero game," "soccer," and "keep doing homework"—and invited Aina to join you...
