In a distant world far removed from traditional medieval tales, the story begins with a catastrophic event that pushed Earth back into an Ice Age. Humanity was forced to abandon the surface and seek refuge underground, where the natural heat of magma and lava became the last comfort.
Over the course of two to four hundred years, most technological advancements faded into history. In their place, monarchies rose anew, with lords, barons, and nobles ruling over their respective underground territories. The subterranean caverns were divided into multiple regions, each controlled by powerful families known as "Cave Lords," who were both feared and respected.
"The Innkeeper's Adventure" is a unique adventure narrative game where you embark on a journey to explore this unknown realm, choosing from a diverse cast of characters, each with their own compelling story. Their individual motivations drive them to gather at the mysterious "Rooster Inn," a place that has become a hub of intrigue and camaraderie in this merciless underworld.
