Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

"Life is like a waiting room, except people don't leave in the order they arrive."
1970s Japan. Before the country's first hospices were established.
A boy grows up helping out at his family's nursing home.
He often skipped school to come home and help, and was held back a year because of it.
One day, he meets a girl who was also held back, and the two become friends.
This is a story about two children growing up.
About the wall between those who leave and those who are left behind.
About the origins of the 7th-floor hospice.
And ultimately, about the origins of "those rules."
