Game synopsis
In a quaint hot spring town with an old-fashioned atmosphere, a young brother and sister live together with an elderly woman.
The boy, hoping to one day repay the old woman who took in him when he had nowhere to go, spends his days wishing he could grow up faster...
As he wished day after day, the days passed by.
And so, several years went by—
After successfully passing his exams, the protagonist enters the local Misaki Academy. The old woman was of course happier than anyone that he had gotten into the school of his dreams, but it was right then that she suddenly passed away.
His childhood dream—the dream of growing up quickly and repaying the old woman—would never come true...
Though the protagonist fell into low spirits for a time, with the guidance of his childhood friend Yui, the only daughter of the inn's family, and the cheerful senior Midori, he gradually regained his spirits.
More importantly, in order to protect his only remaining family, his little sister Nana, the protagonist stood back up from his immense grief.
And so another year passed, and July, the month of summer vacation, began—
A girl newly transfers into the academy, and with the appearance of this girl known as the "Lying Girl," the protagonist's once-peaceful life begins to grow noisy—

伴随着他整日地期盼，日子一天天过去了。
就这样，几年的时间过去了――
主角在顺利通过考试之后，进入了当地的美星学园。对于主角考上了理想的学校，老婆婆当然是比谁都高兴，但是就在这时候，她却突然地去世了。
儿时的梦想，早日长大孝敬老婆婆的那个梦想，就这样无法实现了……。
虽然主角一时间情绪陷入了低潮，但是在旅馆家的独生女，青梅竹马的結衣和开朗的前辈翠的开导下，主角渐渐振作起了精神。
更重要的是，为了保护好自己仅有的亲人，妹妹ななの，主角从巨大的悲痛中重新站了起来。
就这样又过了一年，代表着暑假的七月开始了――
学园里新近转学来了一个女孩子，伴随着这个被称之为“撒谎少女”的女孩子的出现，主人公原本平静的生活开始变得喧闹起来――
