Ren'Py → Spark(no unzipping) RPG Maker → RPGViewer(unzipping required)

Prepare emulator

Please search for and buy an emulator on Taobao (Ren'Py games use Spark, RPG Maker games use RPGViewer), and ask the seller for install instructions.

Download game files

Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

A new entry in light's budget series: a school romance ADV themed around an intellectual, cool and aloof heroine.
The protagonist, Ichiju Kousaka, who usually puts on a nice-guy act, goes to the library to return some books and is treated coldly by the girl working as librarian.
Her name is Arimi Magara. Come to think of it, she seems familiar somehow.
Thinking it over again, Arimi and Ichiju are actually rivals when it comes to grades. Both are at the top of their class, constantly competing for rank in the overall grade totals. But since they were in different classes, he never paid her any attention. He never even realized they were rivals.
Come to think of it, he hasn't spoken to her once since enrolling, even though they really were in the same class back in first year. Yet he can't even remember ever greeting her—that really is unusual.
Arimi is something of a known presence in her class and around school. Her cool, aloof beauty makes her popular with the boys, but she's hard to approach, and she doesn't seem to have many friends among girls either. On top of that, she apparently lives alone, separated from her parents. At this fairly well-known prep school that isn't particularly unnatural, but it's still a curious situation...
Ichiju, whose personality can't stand being disliked by anyone, starts making a "be friendly first" offensive toward Arimi. Then, using the book Arimi is reading as a starting point, he gets into an intellectual debate with her...
