As if he had seen it somewhere, sometime before. A village surrounded by mountains and forests, rivers and fields, with nostalgic scenery, sounds, and air.
Kusakabe Masato is a schoolteacher. Having lost confidence in the gap between ideals and reality, and preparing to escape from his workplace and daily life, he yearns for the countryside with its rich natural environment where he lived as a child. But on the way there, he makes a driving mistake and tumbles to the bottom of a valley.
And when he wakes up, he finds it is neither heaven nor hell...
He has stumbled into a hidden village.
It is a place where no one lives, slightly removed from the "human world." What will Masato encounter, feel, think, and see there...
