"Galaxy Angel: Moonlit Lovers (GALAXY ANGEL Moonlit Lovers)" is the sequel in the "Galaxy Angel" series, themed around the popular Japanese anime franchise. The previous title, "Galaxy Angel," was a multimedia project heavily promoted by BROCCOLI, spanning manga, novels, anime, and toys, with game versions released for PC, PS2, and XBOX. This sequel follows the style of its predecessor while introducing a revamped combat interface and more varied dialogue events, letting players gradually shape the romantic affairs of these beautiful girls.
As the commander "Tact Meyers," the player leads the six beautiful girls of the Moon Angel Squadron on missions. The game has two goals: besides fighting the suppressed rebel army's unmanned fleet, the other is to raise the trust and affection of the Moon Angel Squadron members through dialogue and joint combat, keeping them in good spirits. Most importantly, you must take good care of the girl chosen as your partner. The higher the heroine's affection for you, the better she performs in battle.
As the game progresses, players must arrange battle formations (SLG) according to mission requirements, such as attack, escort, and repair. Once combat begins, it becomes real-time, with all ships on both sides acting simultaneously. Your ships immediately carry out the orders you issue, and you can adapt and update commands on the fly. The newly added first-person cockpit view gives a direct look at both sides' attack strategies. With refined 3D texture technology and freely switchable battlefield perspectives, players can experience the combat scenes immersively.
In daily life outside of battle, players engage in dialogue mode with the main ship's crew and the six beautiful squadron members, triggering events (ADV) that advance the game. Their affection for you leads to different story endings, and the girls' performance in battle rises and falls accordingly.
