Game synopsis
Long, long ago, in a faraway land—
The protagonist is an ordinary young man living on the streets with his younger brother. Though their parents are dead, he spends each day happily with the childhood friend from next door. One day, a company of soldiers suddenly arrives and takes the brothers to the royal palace to meet the king. Unexpectedly, the king says, "I want you to inherit this country." It turns out the brothers are the grandchildren of the king, born to his two daughters—in other words, princes. The senior minister immediately declares he will give his daughters to them in marriage, and things proceed smoothly. The young man, who has lived an ordinary life on the streets for many years, can only go with the flow. The minister's daughter who becomes his wife is beautiful and gentle, and everyone in the palace is fair of face, so the protagonist seems caught in a whirlpool of happiness.
Yet there is always something weighing on his heart—the childhood friend he left behind on the streets, the lover to whom he once pledged himself...
