Download the game's PC package (.7z) from this site.

Import / Extract

First try importing the .7z directly into Spark (no unzipping, lowest effort). If it won't open, extract it with an unzip app and take a look: Has a game folder → still a job for Spark; Has a www folder, or js and data folders → use RPGViewer instead and select the folder containing them.

Run & play

Open the game files with the emulator to start playing. If the archive has a date folder at the top, go one level deeper.

Game synopsis

A game set in the late Edo period in Kyoto, centered on the Shinsengumi. The player takes the role of a new recruit in the Shinsengumi and strives for the newly formed organization. While protecting Kyoto from the clutches of the loyalist ronin, you deepen bonds with female members such as Hijikata and Okita.
Though it bills itself as a period drama, this game is not serious at all. Not only is there no historical accuracy whatsoever, but bizarre incidents occur frequently—including doubts about whether the heroines are even human. Depending on the level of the "Absurdity" parameter, players can even bombard the great demon god invading Kyoto with an 88mm cannon, or be attacked by cyborg samurai and panda ninjas.
The main storyline remains "authentic" and unchanged, but a large number of side events have been added, so both new and veteran players can enjoy it. In addition, it improves on the previous game's criticized issue that "parameters other than Absurdity have little presence," and adds many mini-games. This time no one can say "everything except Absurdity is useless"!
