You play as Ethan (name customizable), an ordinary guy who just wants to start a new life at a university on a distant sunny island. After a confusing and painful breakup, you finally left your smug, self-satisfied ex-girlfriend—Maddie. You thought it was all over.
You just wanted to do the right thing.
Return her stuff.
Get some closure.
And maybe, while you're at it, throw in one last jab at her.
Then the screaming started.
